2본 내용은 커버레터입니다. 커버레터는 고용주에게 자신을 어필하는 편지라고 볼 수 있습니다. 자신이 왜 이 일자리를 알게 되었는지, 왜 지원하는지, 왜 자신이 그 일에 적합한지를 A4 한 페이지 분량으로 작성하는 건데 우리나라의 자기소개서와는 다르게 핵심 위주로 간략하게 자신을 어필하는 것이 핵심입니다. 형식에 맞게 쓴 점은 좋으나 내용이 지원 직무와 연관이 없다는 점이 아쉽습니다. 지원 직무는 컴퓨터 시스템 환경, 운영체제, 응용프로그램 및 제품에 대한 광범위한 지식을 요구하고 있고, 이 회사 제품이나 유사 제품의 운영, 설치, 유지관리에 대한 경험을 요구하고 있는데 그에 맞춰 쓴 내용이 아닙니다.

While I was preparing for recruitment starting in March, I heard about associate sales engineer analyst within your office through university club member. I received a master’s degree in OOOOO Engineering after graduating from the OO University, Republic of Korea. 좋은점 1
I aimed to hardware coding experts rather than software since I was a freshman. For this purpose, I completed a course of embedded software coding. I always have thought that applying other techniques allows new perspective. Therefore, I studied many things on my own such as basics of security, multicore programming, and 3D printing. These aspects might be helpful for me to learn new work at your team.아쉬운점 1
I had studied for two years in OOO(OOO-on-OOO) laboratory. In the lab, I have usually researched about development of semiconductor IP especially in part of video codec. I had opportunities of announcements in conferences and handled a lot of documents such as grant reports. So I also have some experiences and skills of office work and MS office software. This makes me more confident with adapting to your company.아쉬운점 2

좋은점 1 자신의 전공 및 어떻게 일자리를 알게 되었는지를 핵심 위주로 설명했습니다.
아쉬운점 1 자신의 학업적 배경을 설명한 곳인데, 자신의 목표가 하드웨어 코딩 전문가였다는 내용이 포함되어 있고, 소프트웨어 코딩 교육에 대해서도 언급하고 있습니다. 지원직무는 컴퓨터 시스템 환경, 운영체제, 응용프로그램, 회사 제품 및 유사 제품의 운영, 설치, 유지 관리에 대한 경험이 필요한 일인데, 그에 대한 내용이 아닙니다.
아쉬운점 2 석사과정 중 반도체 개발 관련 연구를 했고 보고서 작성 경험, 문서 작성 역량 등을 설명하고 있는데, 이 역시 이 직무에서 요구하는 역량에 관련된 내용이 아니라는 점이 아쉽습니다.
