Major Responsibilities: > Interface with the Customer, as the Representative
of Nexteer, through easy and difficult discussions in a professional manner. > Support Customer & PDT for EPS Development at customer site. > Liaison between Korea OEM’s and AP Technical Center. > Contribute to problem solving activities related to
vehicle and/or quality issues. > Keep Tracking Engineering Issues and Follow up with
customer and PDT team until issues to be closed. > Evaluate customer requirements for product
specification and function. > Support APQP, DFMEA, and ADVP&R (DV/PV). > Support product problem solving and root-cause
analysis. > Support flawless launch of customer programs. > Support new business pursuit for EPS.
Skills and Abilities/Qualification: > Bachelor’s degree of mechanical engineering required. > Excellent problem-solving skills. > Proficient written and verbal communication skills
in English. > Hands-on skill set for adapting to customers’ systems (e.g. Engineering Change System, Parts Release System, etc.) > Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, and Outlook). > Knowledge of GD&T > Knowledge of APQP
Experience: > Min. 2 years’ experience working with Korean OEMs as
a product engineer - Required > Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering,
automotive development, and APQP - Required > Steering system or Chassis system Background - Preferred > DFSS or 6-sigma green belt - Preferred > Experience of working with global team - Preferred
