  - Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (MSDK)

2. Position Summary

Sr. Supplier quality engineer is a member of the quality department and is in charge of the quality of suppliers and inter-companies for in-house manufacturing and sourcing parts, Hydraulics parts and EMP(Electro Mechanical & Pneumatic) parts.

Sr. Supplier quality engineer works to ensure the supplier and inter-companies quality are robust enough so that in-house manufacturing and sourcing parts provide a high level of quality that meets or exceed customer expectation.

Primary purposes of the job include analyzing root cause, taking corrective action, preventing recurrence and continuous improvement for imported defective materials with suppliers and inter-companies.

3. Essential Functions:

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to the following:

- Improve the quality of supplier and inter-company and reduce the customer complaints and

in-house process complaints.

- React for the in-house process quality and lead problem solving activity so that the process

quality of in-house manufacturing parts improve.

- Problem solving and communicate with suppliers and inter-companies for the issues and lead

the 8D report.

- Support IATF 16949 quality system management

- Conduct basic measurements on products

- Report weekly quality report

4. Qualifications

- Associate or bachelor`s degree in Engineering or related field.

- More than 7 years in quality department

- Have experience working for supplier quality control/assurance/measurement

- Have experience for problem solving for manufacturing issues

- Have practical knowledge of inspection, quality control and PPAP procedure.

- Understand customer drawing, specification, and requirement.

- Understanding GD&T and measuring principle

- Have basic measurement skills

- Knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949 quality management

- Working experiences in Hydraulics, Pneumatic, Mechanical, Electric or Automotive industry.

- Language skills: Can communicate with overseas supplier and inter-company.
