* POSITION SUMMARY
1. Purpose
To achieve sales budget and support business growth especially for Samsung
accounts in Korea through seeking new opportunity and managing existing contracts.
2. Nature and Scope
- This incumbent is responsible for achieving sales budgets and profitability targets set
for Tonnage, He and Hydrogen business of Samsung Electronics in Korea, in which
has a significant existing business and potential growth especially in IG Korea.
- The incumbent is also to support necessary and comprehensive commercial activities
to create company’s benefit with current Samsung franchise account managers.
Commercial activities include forecasting customer demand, pricing negotiation,
contracting, settling customer compliant, budgeting and collecting.
- The incumbent is to closely work with internal functions to develop new franchise
opportunities.
3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) General for Commercial:
- Keep tracking customer’s activities, business plan, technology progress
- Builds strong relationships with customers
- Monitor demand trend and forecast future demand
- Renew the contract and extend the contract term after the initial term ends
in a timely manner
- Review the annual budget and to make it to the goals
- Analyze and improve productivity to maximize the corporate profitability
2) New Business Opportunities:
- Prepare technical and commercial proposal to the customer in bid
- Prepare documentation to get the proposal approval from management
- Support commercial lead to negotiate with customer for signing up contract
- Join the bidding for Samsung bulk gas and BSGS project
- Analyze our own strength compared to other competitors, and share with customer
to evaluate
3) Support Samsung Franchises:
- Support franchise managers to negotiate with customers in contract new signing
and renewal
- Follow-up Samsung and other customer’s system update (GSRM,P-EHS,BQMS etc.)
- Maintain internal & external various reports
- Participate in marketing surveys for semiconductor (DRAM, NAND, Foundry and
OSAT) and relevant industry
* JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 삼성(반도체) 대상 영업 경험 또는 삼성영업을 안했더라도 삼성반도체 공정에 대해 알고 있는 자 우대
-> 삼성 대상으로 반도체 소재 또는 반도체 장비/부품 영업 경험자 우대
The incumbent should possess (it is recognized most candidates will not have all the qualifications):
1) Education to degree level or above in relevant major
2) 3~10 years work experience in commercial position or engineering industry
3) Understanding of financial terms (ex. IRR, NPV, OROI, and EBITDA) with the ability to
quickly screen through multiple potential project offerings and opportunities.
4) Good understanding of the Semiconductor industry
5) Strategic thinking and project development skills are required
6) Excellent interpersonal skills and good at working as a team player
7) Good communication skills of written and verbal English
8) Excellent Microsoft skills (specifically Excel skills, pivot tables, etc.) for data
9) Knowledge and experience in specialty materials and equipment are preferred
