직무소개
Language Specialist는 RWS Korea의 고유 직종이며, 동종 업계에서 Linguist, Translator라고도 부릅니다. 언어적 측면에서 담당 프로젝트의 품질 기준 준수, 관리적 측면에서 원활한 프로젝트 수행을 담당하는 역할을 맡습니다. 고도로 전산화 및 자동화된 업무 환경에서 복수의 프로젝트를 신속, 정확하게 멀티태스킹으로 처리해야 하며, 필요에 따라 소속 팀장 및 팀원의 업무를 지원합니다.

담당업무

▷ Translating Life Sciences content from Korean into English and other sectors as required

▷ Reviewing the work of in-house and external translator

▷ Post-editing

▷ Producing quality translations within given timeframes

▷ Providing linguistic support and feedback

▷ Mentoring more junior translators

▷ Working with clients, reviewers and project managers to define best practice

▷ Understanding and following RWS’s linguistic processes and procedures

▷ Managing terminology effectively

▷ Using translation tools

▷ Linguistic checking of files in their final format

▷ Acting as Lead translator to oversee the linguistic processes of one or several accounts

▷ Managing your time effectively

자격 요건

▷ A degree in translation or a relevant combination of training and experience

▷ A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the life sciences translation field, a particular focus on pharmaceuticals and bio pharmaceuticals is highly advantageous

▷ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

▷ The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

▷ Good knowledge of translation software such as Trados

▷ Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

▷ You must be a native level English speaker
