Description


AfreecaTV is seeking a Global Esports Business Associate who will help develop and execute game/esports content business strategy and manage day-to-day game and esports related business with the local esports team while reporting to the Head of Global Content Business.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and determined candidate. As a
Global Esports Business Assistant Manager, you will lead key business areas that will share the success of our business.


Key Responsibilities



  • Strategic growth

    • Lead a business strategy development to grow the business which includes a ‘Go-To-Market’ strategy for a new product

    • Manage the business’ P&L

    • Lead content business projects by collaborating with the teams across

    • Support local offices businesses

  • Partnership management

    • Develop and deepen the relationship with game developers and publishers to create content and production business opportunities 

    • RFPs : Lead collaborations with our esports production teams to maximize opportunities to work with local and international esports events

  • Commercialization

    • Make sure to set a sustainable business model through advertisement and sponsorship sales

    • Create B2B business opportunities by bringing partnerships

  • Report Status / Risk Mitigation Plan

    • Help the Head of Global Content Business for regular status update meetings to assess progress and identify risks. Work with cross  functional partners to proactively mitigate risks.  Appropriately escalate risks to senior management. Consistently look for opportunities to improve how we work. 

 

              

Key Requirements


  • 3+ years in business development

  • Analytics and data driven

  • Excellent communication in both Korean and English

  • Project management skills (e.g. Timeline management, budget cost tracking, etc.)

  • Experience in developing global businesses in live streaming, game/esports industries


Plus


  • Experience and knowledge in content and LIVE streaming platform business

  • Heavy user on streaming platform

  • Experience in global game publishing

  • Multilingual speaker (English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese, etc.)

  • Passionate gamer and esports fan

  • Passionate AfreecaTV fan
     



Global service positions can work for the AfreecaTV subsidiary as the business progresses.

급여 : 면접 후 결정
