English Teacher (Full Time)

We are excited to announce an opening for our head start program that serves as a transition between kindergarten and elementary for the 2024-25 Academic Year. We are looking for an experienced educator, someone passionate about the social and emotional development of young learners and eager to share their expertise with our students.


Primary Responsibilities:


1. Creating syllabi centered around CCSS-aligned curricular materials

2. Instructing kindergarten-aged students on designated core subject classes

3. Daily supervision of the assigned elementary homeroom while ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students


General Information:


1. Start Date: August 2024

2. Location: Seongdong-gu, Seoul

3. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:45 pm

4. Vacation Over seven weeks of paid vacation split between summer, winter, and spring holidays

5. Medical and Personal Leave Days

6. Salary: Based on experience and qualifications, negotiable within a specified range


Minimum Requirements:


1. Prior experience classroom teaching experience

2.Teaching certification or an Education-related university degree

Responsibilities

ㆍElementary and middle school (G1~G7) classes and class management

ㆍRegular counseling for parents

ㆍClass subjects: Reading, Literature, Grammar, Writing, Speaking (Speech/Debate) 


Qualifications

ㆍEducation: College graduate or higher

ㆍExperience: 2 years of experience↑

ㆍ100% capable of taking English classes (native speaker level) 


Preferential treatment

ㆍMajor: English language and literature, education, language education, TESOL 

ㆍExperienced international school/foreign school
