Description


Locating in SOOP HQ office in Seoul, Korea reporting to Global Business Development Lead.

We are looking for a passionate, determined, and humble candidate. As a Business Development Assistant Manager, you will dedicatedly work with key projects that will share the success of our global business.


Key Responsibilities


Partnership Management 

- Manage game developers and publishers to provide resonating content that satisfies the market preference 

- Build and manage relationships with the related government agencies who can support the global streaming business

- Create partnerships with global and local level companies

 

Commercialization 

- Develop commercialization strategy which creates  business opportunities by bringing partnerships

- Sponsorship sales for our content

- Lead collaborations for RFPs with internal stakeholders against game companies, government agencies, and commercial partners

- Develop new business models which enlarge the streaming platform business 


Project Management 

- Lead a strategy development to grow the market business which includes a ‘Go-To-Market’ Strategy for new projects

- Manage the market business P&L

- Lead the content business project by collaborating with the teams across 


Report Status / Risk Mitigation Plan 

- Drive regular status update meetings to assess progress and identify risks and work with cross  functional partners to proactively mitigate risks. Appropriately escalate risks to the senior management

- Consistently look for opportunities to improve how we work

- Collect and share market insights with the team


               

Key Requirements


3+ years experience in the related business development ground 

Analytics and data driven 

Excellent communication in both Korean and English 

Project management skills (e.g. Timeline management, budget cost tracking, etc.) 

Experience in developing global businesses in Live streaming, game/esports industries 



Plus


Passionate AfreecaTV fan 

Experience and knowledge in content and LIVE streaming platform business 

Experience in global game publishing companies 

Multilingual speaker (Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Chinese, etc.) 

Passionate gamer and esports fan 



Note


Global service positions can work for the AfreecaTV subsidiary as the business progresses.

근무 형태 : 정규직(수습(시용)기간) - 3개월

급여 : 면접 후 결정
