Scope/Supervision
& Interaction
- Supervise and control all
previous and new Piping lIne/Hose Assy and provide knowledge of technical
advice to internal & external customers by using thorough knowledge of
industry practices and regulations.
Essential
Functions:
- Lead new Project Planning,
specification generation, maintaing exellent communications among
departments product validation
through test, market release and bringing closure to projcet
- Actively promote excellent
communication and cooperative work efforts with international counterparts
to develop global product..
- Prioritize and Guiding
engineering department activities to ensure effective and efficient
completion of team objectives.
- Initiation and continuous
improvement of good engineering design, practices and procedures. This
includes implementing redesign to improve manufacturing and to eliminate
potential field problems.
- Technical support for
manufacturing, production designs, customers and marketing.
- Propose and manage team
operational budget, as well as assist in preparation of R&D and
special tooling budgets.
- Make recommendations on
strategic value and risks associated with product proposals and
customer/market requests.
- Support sales/marketing
efforts regarding customer involvement as required
- Generate the idea for cost
reduction and value tracking in production area.
- present test standards
required by various classification societies to customers, analyze
customer specifications, and support competitive quotations based on BOM
and routing.
- Manage patents for the
development and improvement of new products, and submit patent
specification for patent application.
- Manage PDM, JDE, IMDS, BOM
& Routing database.
- Participate in KAIZEN, SBD and
HPT as a team leader or team member.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in
Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Job Experience: 5~ 10 years’
experience in Hydraulic System, Shipbuilding or Piping line & Hose
Assebly Design
- Has working knowledge of
engineering domain, techniques, industry practices, regulations and
polices.
- Excellent technical and
engineering comprehension and knowledge of mechanics and hydrodynamics.
- Proficient with 2D and
3D(Inventor, Catia) engineering design tool and analysis tools.
- Certification for hydraulic
systems and facility maintenance are preferred
Proficient in speaking & writing English.
