Lean & Quality (임원) Job Summary: - Primary resource
in the country for coaching / facilitating the Divisions in its Lean
Transformation through the implementation of the Parker Lean System (PLS) &
Quality management system. - Delivers
practical, hands-on training to associates in PLS methodology and tools to
eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions. - Measures and
reports progress on an on-going basis related Lean/Quality KPIs (DNE Savings,
Productivity, Inventory). - Develop annual
Improvement (kaizen) Calendar working closely with Divisional/BU Leadership and
Regional & Product Group Lean Managers - Maintain the
quality philosophy and Zero Defect culture for Korea Supply Chain and
Operations - Create and
implement a quality plan to achieve the levels of quality established through
organizational goals, customer expectations, related stakeholders and market
benchmark: Select and Lead Lean & Quality priority projects and lead
execution. - Lead Korea
Divisions with country level Improvement projects, including Siebel customer
claims, Zero Defect Deployment and Six Sigma program. - Enhance and
improve problem-solving tools, prevention methods, quality-at-the-source and
continual improvement techniques. - Support and
facilitate HPT framework: Lead key country HPT to improve business, enhance
Engagement and Empower teams. - Lead Lean &
Quality priority projects from planning to execution for sustainability and
continuous improvement - Capture, Share /
Deploy Best Practices, Participate in regional Lean/Quality Transformation
activities Scope/Key
Responsibility: - Position reports
to Country Managing Director of Parker Korea - Position works
closely with Asia-Pacific Group Lean & Quality Directors 1. Regarding to Lean - Ensures the
development of a robust Lean Future State Strategy aligned to Strategic
Positioning and Win Strategy to be implemented Country-wide. - Ensures full PLS
& Quality management education and implementation in all functional areas
at the division, plant, and facility level to ensure consistency and
sustainability. - Provides
leadership and direction to the Division & Country Staff. Works with
Division/Country staff and Plant level management on Lean implementation using
Parker Lean Systems as the principal tool. - Facilitate and
Coach General Manger/Value Stream 5day Kaizens at each division / Business
Units yielding any target Savings for each event. - Follow-up and
Review of Sustenance of Kaizens, capture best practices for horizontal
deployment of learnings. - Support to setup
Kaizen Promotion Office (Site Tracking Boards, Team Improvement and Value
Stream Boards) at each site. - Drive Kaizen
events & HPT across Korea divisions including sales organization - Communicates the
status of all Lean efforts to the AP Group/Product Group Lean Manager - Develops and
manages the Lean resources in Korea, where appropriate. - Champion for Coach
country High Performance initiative. Drive for Engagement and Higher
performance. - Shares “Best
Practice” methods and ideas with AP Group/Product Group Lean Manager. 2. Regarding to
Quality - Oversees the
effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to
assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards
set by company. - Implements the
performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational
performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction and
the cost of poor quality. - Design and
maintain a standard Defect Reporting process for SC aligned with local
divisions: Driving and working with teams in Korea for all possible Zero defect
saving. - Lead continuous
improvement of claim process, driving the divisions to actively engage at early
phase of failure analysis, on site check or verification, problem solving and
corrective action, to ensure 100% of customer satisfaction on 8D reporting and
solutions. - Regular key
customers visit or communication to understand VOC and take actions
accordingly. Qualification: - More than 10 years
experience in Lean and Quality Tools, Systems in both Manufacturing and
Non-Manufacturing areas. - Hands on
Experience in coaching and Facilitating Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events. - Lean
Certification, Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or
Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) is preferred. - Thorough knowledge
of International Standard ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS 16949 as
applicable for automotive sector) is mandatory. - Experience with
quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical
Process Control, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis). - Good verbal &
written communication and coaching skills.
