## Job Description 

-. Maintain, improve, and harmonize standard cost process and documentation to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.` 

-. Prepare the monthly location P&L’s and financial package and review with management.

-. Manage Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecast.

-. Develop and/or update manufacturing labor and overhead rates for AOP.

-. Manage labor and overhead absorption costing.

-. Invoice review / monthly accruals / work with plant/facility management to analyze actuals and make accruals.

-. Prepare journal entries for month-end close and analyze actual costs vs. forecast each month.

-. Provide analysis of variances with written comments and updates to action plans to address the variances.

-. Conduct/view regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory valuation and assist with annual physical inventory planning and process.

-. Ensure that appropriate internal controls surrounding inventory movements are in place and provide support for compliance.

-. Complete the monthly inventory account reconciliations.

-. Preparation of monthly Key Performance Indicators including:

  : Spending, labor, production, and production scrap

  : Productivity, Cycle Counts, Inventory

  : Manufacturing and Labor and Overhead variance analysis

-. Prepare monthly analysis of production scrap, material variances, cycle count variances and purchase price variances.

-. Prepare ROI analysis for capital requests and track actual expenditures.

-. Support cost reduction and productivity enhancement projects

-. Assist with ad hoc and special projects as required.

-. Performs other related duties as assigned. 


## Requirements 

-. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.

-. More than 5 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

-. Prior experience analyzing operations, maintaining cost accounting system, performing life cycle cost-benefit analyses, and analyzing unit cost variances.

-. Demonstrated ability to influence business partners and internal customers.

-. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across functional and managerial boundaries

-. Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required.

-. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

-. Advanced Excel and Office 365

-. ERP experience, preferably Oracle EBS

-. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment with competing priorities

-. Strong business acumen 

-. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

-. Ability to work under time pressure and comply with all deadlines.

-. Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage

-. Ability to work extended hours as necessary.

-. Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.

-. Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.

-. Must be able to travel to Cheong-Ju plant occasionally when necessary.
