Job Description

- Consult Partner identifies, sells, solutions, and delivers KD Consult services that create customer value. Is the first person a Customer Partner brings onboard to an opportunity to identify the right approach to deliver value to the customer. Brings in deep technical expertise from Practice Tech Specialist as needed


<Customer Success>

- Build relationships with senior C-level and IT executives; create referenceable customers

- Lead with a consultative approach to identify and create demand cross all of capabilities. Work in tandem with the Customer Partner on the account.  Leads and drives deals to closure through consultative approach and personal eminence.

- Responsible for bringing together deep technical and solution expertise, coupled with alliance partners, for successful joint pursuits.


<Commercial Success>

- Identify, develop and own opportunities for project work in assigned customer; drive opportunities through in collaboration with Customer Partners

- Manage contracts end-to-end including negotiating scope, organizing internal support, coordinating with the deal team to finalize terms, and bringing cross teams on multi-tower/complex deals

- Responsible for working with the Account team to expand our scope to managed services opportunities

- Define a unique winning proposition using technology-specific expertise to orchestrate the overall deal response

- Provide consultative skills and technology-specific expertise to drive sales and delivery capabilities aligned to project services

- Maintain strong technical expertise with certifications from major vendors

- Invest in the development of people on the account and across to develop the next generation of talent

- Support in achieving its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals

- Act as a steward of the culture



Summary of what we seek:

- Someone who has a very strong consultant or advisor experience with a technical background in the IT infrastructure service industry.

- Individuals who can create value, consult, and solve complex business problems ? Industry expertise, trends.

- Candidates who have experience handing deals end to end.

- CIO level contacts and experience selling to C-suite/GM level+.

- Have commercial acumen and have previously carried a quota/target. 

- Can own opportunity and commercial construct and drive it along with support of Customer Partner/Practice/alliances.

- Can come from various industries as long as they have Services/Managed Services experience.
