group is looking for the role of PAE(Platform Application Engineer), supporting
customer-enabling activities in exciting and broad market segments, including
automotive and AI technology. Our team provides direct customer design-win/in
support to accelerate customer time to market and develop Automotive/AI-specificdemo scenarios to
deliver Intel technical value to customers. The candidate will be responsible
for BSP level s/w domain closely partnering with internal architecture,
marketing, and backend engineering teams, and also will drive efforts in
pathfinding to design new conceptual architecture and demo scenarios across
multiple platforms, and technologies for various product lines.
Candidate should have experience in object oriented programming, application
software designs, design patterns, Linux system programming and debugging.
Experience in Android OS and relevant technologies are advantageous such as
Android framework, Android app programming and binary translation etc.
Responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:
- Architecture design for application software.
- Software implementation.
- Linux system level debugging.
- Respond to customer technical questions.
- Creation of application-specific collateral, white papers, and application
notes.
- Provide technical training for customers and Intel field application
engineers.
- Hands-on testing and validation activities.
Qualifications:
- Practical object oriented
programming experience with modern C++, Java and/or Python.
- Experience on object oriented software design and design patterns.
- Familiarity with machine learning. AI project experience is plus.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software
Engineering related field with 5+ years of working experience in system-level
engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of system architectures and technologies for
software design and implementation.
- Comprehensive understanding of operating systems.
- Comprehensive technical RnD experience and skills to create customer-ready
material.
- Comprehensive experience with software debugging.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of mobile framework such as Android OS.
- Android framework debug experience is desirable.
- Platform power-on and debug experience are desirable.
- Experience in platform applications engineering or system design experience
is highly desired, particularly in the automotive fields.
- Familiarity with AI industrial solutions and ADAS.
- Strong understanding of operating Systems including Windows and Linux.
Embedded system integration skills desired.
