Key Purpose Of Role 
The Domestic Marketing Sr.Manager at Warner Music Korea is a pivotal role responsible for leading all Warner Music Korea`s domestic related retipporees which includes direct signed artists, labels, along with distribution artists/labels/partners. This position is tasked with formulating and implementing innovative marketing strategies to enhance the profiles of the domestic artists, and to provide best marketing services to the partners both in local and in global markets. A deep understanding of the digital landscape and the artist`s storytelling is crucial for the success of these strategies. The role involves managing a marketing team and multiple projects in different formats, with the goal of increasing market share, revenue, and building a strong presence as one of the power domestic players in Korea.

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Lead, formulate, and develop creative marketing and promotion strategies for Warner Music Korea`s owned artists, to drive brand awareness, marketing share, and revenue 
  • Manage domestic marketing team and staffs
  • Provide strong marketing services to the label/artist partners
  • Work with ex-Korea for affiliates for export strategies i.e. Asia Regional Team, Global Team, and local countries
  • Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, project managers, A&Rs, and partners to anticipate and plan for upcoming product launches
  • Drive seamless communication with Warner internal and external teams 
  • Efficiently manage marketing budgets in collaboration with Artist Management, A&R, and Finance Team.
  • Handle paid media, assets coordination, and execution for global digital platforms
  • Analyze and package regular post-mortem on marketing plans and activities to refine future strategies and decision-making

Requirements
  • Bi-lingual in English and Korean is the must. (Additional languages is preferred)
  • University graduate in Marketing or related disciplines 
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing or agency environment, preferably in the entertainment industry 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and drive towards business results 
  • Demonstrated experience in management, with a strong capability to oversee and optimize marketing budgets efficiently 
  • Proficient in data analysis, with a proven track record of utilizing data insights to inform and enhance marketing strategies 
  • Highly comfortable and experienced with paid media, including planning, execution, and analysis of paid advertising campaigns across various platforms
  • Dynamic and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong partnerships locally, regionally, and globally
  • Organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and flexible
  • Skilled in multitasking, with strong capability in planning, organization, and time management, and prioritization
