A Senior Legal Counsel position is now available at an international renewable energy company. The chosen applicant will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating pre-transaction documents and project-related contacts.

Responsibilities:

• Handle NDAs, MoUs or term sheets, and consortium agreements
• Oversee agreements on land acquisition or lease, development services, procurement or supply of products, construction, and operations and maintenance
• Manage project-related financing and security documentation
• Advise the management and board of the company to ensure board and shareholders’ meetings are called and convened in accordance with the governance arrangements applicable to a project company
• Create and maintain meeting minutes and resolutions
• Review group compliance policies in the area of AML, FCPA, and sanctions, and make necessary updates and localisations to ensure compliance with local regulations

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of PQE
• Experience in lease arrangements, land acquisition, renewable energy, construction, corporate and commercial contracts
• Private practice experience gained at mid to top-tier law firms or in-house experience at an energy sponsor or construction firm is advantageous
• Prior M&A and debt financing experience is a plus
