As R&D
Manager your role is
first line management position, you will be responsible for the planning,
direction and coordination of the Busch KRM R&D activities. The role includes leading the engineering
design, product development and project engineering teams. The role requires not
only the opportunity to maximise their R&D experience but to see the
product right the way through to completion.
As R&D
Manager you will keep abreast of new technologies, competitor activities and
national and international industry information to keep ahead in the market. You
will be required to introduce and promote innovation to designs of our product
and related equipment and development concepts.
Your
role will encompass focusing on developing tomorrow’s products and continuously
improving existing products in performances, cost and quality.
The R&D Manager is also responsible for ensuring
that all R&D employees are working to Busch GLOBAL standard operating
procedures and is ensuring at all times that intellectual property security is
maintained.
Main Tasks
- To lead
the KRM R&D team including development team and project team
- To report
continuously to Global R&D manager and support KRM General manager in
the technical field
- To create
annual KRM R&D budget and report monthly KRM R&D cost
- To manage
and develop KRM R&D people and competencies
To be familiar with, work to and
apply the Busch Global R&D standards, tools and work procedures.
To work collaboratively with Global R&D
worldwide team.
- To design
and implement the manufacture of prototype new products in line with the
development program.
- To
develop and extend the range and performance of any products identified,
recording technical data as required.
- The
supervision and initiation of performance test and procedures on extended
or new prototype products, producing data drawings etc. as appropriate.
- To prepare engineering design,
descriptive drawings and bills of materials for Busch standard and
system products.
- To raise and implement engineering change
orders as requested.
- To assist Applications Engineers with
the preparation of pre-order drawings and diagrams.
- In conjunction with other departments, to
assist with the preparation of engineering standards for both KRM products
and bought-in components.
- To occasionally visit
customer to listen their needs and collect the Voice of customer, attend
customer sites as a problem solver or assisting with the commissioning
work for pump sets/systems.

| Key Measurements · Development of new products in line with the Busch strategy. · Improve existing products in term of performance, quality and cost. · Support technically the production of responsible products in KRM. · Provide strong and reliable engineering assistance to Busch sales companies for product selection, product customization or technical problems. Core Competencies · Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electronics/Electrical Engineering · Minimum 5 years as R&D or Technical manager in Semicon industry · Ideally experience in vacuum pump or compressor · Fluent in English (mandatory) · Strong management skills in global matrix organization · Providing excellent customer service (internal and external). · Excellent communication skills (external and internal) · Strong technical know how / proficiency. · Willingness to learn and implement continuous improvement on product and process. · Self motivation and team working. · Cost/Time planning and control. 원활한 영어회화 실력 필수 | ○명 |
