포지션 및 자격요건

BASF Stationary Energy Storage GmbH (BSES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of BASF SE is seeking a qualified Manager Project Execution for NAS battery projects in the Asia Pacific. BSES is the exclusive distributer of the NAS® batteries and co-develops the NAS® technology together with its Japanese partner NGK Insulators Ltd. The location will be in one of BASF local offices in Asia, preferably in Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, or Tokyo.

As a Manager Project Execution, you will be reporting to the Head of Asia Sales and Head of Project Execution Team. We are seeking a self-directed and pragmatic professional who has experiences in the management and execution of the renewable energy projects such as solar & battery. Qualification requires electrical engineering background with strong experience in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and profound knowledge of standards, codes and best industry practices for electrical equipment. Energy Storage market awareness is desirable. Strong verbal & written English skill is a must.



*Your responsibilities

1. Technical Duties:

- Provide technical lead to customers and partners during the engineering phase of NAS battery projects.
- Understand technical and regulatory requirement of NAS battery installation and grid/renewables connections.
- Arrange technical interfaces between NAS battery DC block, power conversion system (PCS) and other electrical components of the projects.
- Understand and comply with project-specific safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to the sales team during project acquisition.


2. Managerial Duties:

- Take responsibility for NAS battery project execution to complete installation & commissioning according to agreed timeline and scope.
- Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plan and provide clear direction to internal & external stakeholders.
- Prepare, report and present project status for management reviews.
- Manage clear and effective communication channels with manufacturers, customers, and partners.
- Manage logistics of NAS battery products according to delivery terms and conditions agreed in Supply Contract


3. Leadership Duties:

- Manage relations with EPC, equipment suppliers and other associates.
- Lead internal processes through all project execution stages until commercial operation.
- Take thorough responsibility for project execution by understanding and managing the scope, stakeholders, and schedule while keeping all parties coordinated.


*Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering and construction management in the power generation market with utilities, project developers and EPCs.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems
- Deep knowledge in project management. Project management certification PMP/PMI or similar is of advantage.
- Team player with a solution-oriented way of working and customer-oriented mindset.
- Willing travel to within region and internationally
- Strong verbal and written English language skill is required. Other languages to communicate with Clients are plus.
- Professional knowledge of the MS office tools.
