JOB DESCRIPTION

The FBP (6-month contract) will be responsible for driving the Finance strategic plan in the following key areas:

  • Direct the overall financial governance/integrity and strategy for the Business in accordance with its vision and goals aligned with the Toll Group framework.
  • Drive profitability by partnering with the business to set strategic goals, monitor these goals and determine solutions to improve business and financial performance.
  • Proactively provide commercial support and partner with the business to support our customers in the "sales to delivery".
  • Pursue capital productivity by driving capital expenditure policy and optimisation of resources (including cash management) to maximise returns in line with strategy.
  • Ensure all financial reports are prepared in an accurate & timely manner and ensure information for the material business operation has been included.
  • Maintain effective systems of internal controls and adherence to Group Financial Accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with Group and statutory policies, regulations & requirements.
  • A focus on creating a high performing finance team, attracting, continually developing/nurturing in-house and retaining talent.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years post qualification experience in Finance in a senior role in a company of similar scale and complexity.
  • Relevant logistics industry sector experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing change and integration challenges in a transformed environment is critical.
  • Able to function successfully in a constantly changing environment.
  • 5 to 7 years international experience and comfort dealing with international business, including contracts, M&A and taxation.
  • Demonstrated business partnering experience of a close, productive working relationship supporting the Leadership team in assessing financial and commercial opportunities/risks throughout the business.

Qualifications

  • Post graduate or Masters qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, international business or management.
  • Membership of relevant professional body (CPA or equivalent).

Technical/Professional Skills

  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles including IFRS and local reporting standards.
  • SAP (FI & CO module).
