Forwarding Business Development Manager 

Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the success of the business by effectively initiating and driving incremental sales in a professional, value adding and customer focused manner. 

The purpose of the position is to contribute to the success of the business by effectively initiating and driving incremental sales in a professional, value-added , and customer- focused manner .                 
 

  • - Proactively interact and acquire new customers for ocean, air and customs brokerage.
    • Acquire new customers by proactively interacting with them in   the maritime air and customs brokerage sectors          
  • - Building strong and long-lasting relationships with new & existing customers in order to develop additional business opportunities.
    • Develop additional business opportunities by building strong, long-term relationships with   new and existing customers           
  • - Grow Revenue and Volume Footprint to achieve economies of scale and service reliability.
    • Achieve economies of scale and service stability by expanding   sales and volume        
  • - Partner with the Toll network to increase volumes in key trade lanes & verticals in accordance with our Sales Strategy.
    • Collaborate with Toll  network to increase transaction volume in mainly trade routes and sectors according to   sales strategy            
  • - Engage with Network on Global Account Development.
    • Network participation for   global customer development     
  • - Represent Toll in line with our values

    and ethics (eg Safety, Integrity and Trust, Continuous Improvement)

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor/College`s Degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field of study preferred
    • Bachelor`s / college degree in   Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management , or related field preferred.       
  • - 7 - 10 years working experience as the same level in Forwarding field
    • 7 to 10 years of experience in the same industry in   the forwarding field    
  • - Proven “business-to-business” sales experience in forwarding industry
    • Proven B2B  sales experience in the   forwarding industry    
  • - Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments
    •   Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade , influence  , negotiate  and make formal presentations in conference and training settings .              
  • - Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing, motivating and developing individuals and high performance teams
    • Demonstrated success in leading supervising managing motivating and developing   individuals and high-performance teams.        
  • - Fluency in English
    •   English literacy _
