Christian Sprout Intercultural School is looking for qualified teachers for Secondary School in South Korea, is currently seeking an experienced teacher that is dedicated to teaching. 

CSIS is a Christian alternative school located in Yongin, South Korea. It was established in 2006.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Full Time Position: Social Studies Teacher - Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 School year (Contract Renewable)

Teaching Hours: 22~25 teaching Hours/week; 45 minutes/class

Salary: Depending on Experience paid out on the 10th of each month

Housing: Studio apartment near campus (for Non-Korean teachers)

Benefits:

Severance Pay equivalent to a month’s salary paid after fulfilling contract

Paid Vacation Days: 4 Weeks/Year + All National Holidays

Cafeteria lunch provided during semester

4 National Insurances

QUALIFICATIONS

- Native English speaker or Bilingual (Korean-English)

- Bachelor’s degree and demonstrates the competency to teach subject matter - Degree in Education, Science preferred

- Ability to teach up to high school calculus 

- Use student-centered teaching 

- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills 

- Experienced 

- Ability to plan and create engaging math lessons that build conceptual understanding 

- Experience with STEM or STEAM programs
