Job Description: KR Re-Use Engineering ? Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer within Re-Use engineering team, you will be working with various functions such as Re-Use Engineering, Re-Use Operation, Supply chain, Quality and other stakeholders to drive technical escalations from manufacturing and field.

The Re-Use KR Engineering Team is responsible for delivering repair solutions including test method for parts that are added to the portfolio.  Inside this engineering team is the Re-Use support team that is supporting the transfer of repair solutions to the operations team. Moreover, this team is responsible for the Issue Resolution Management (IRM), issues that are raised by the operations team; configuration management, assessment of new parts in existing portfolio and packaging expertise.

• Drive systemic problem solving for high value technical problem belong to Re-Use Operation equipment, tools, fixture, instruction and other methodologies
• Prioritizes criticality and form a small group with key stakeholder engagement from Engineering, Operation, Quality, Supply Chain and other functions
• Implement quick containment in Operation or Customer site to minimize business impact
• Organize and lead urgent & periodic meetings for project/task status review for work progress
• Ensure to implement long term corrective action on critical escalations to prevent recurrence
• Asses new parts within existing portfolio and adapt repair methodology where needed
• Engage Re-Use Engineering development activities for continuous improvement though critical escalation experiences from Operation & Customer sites
• Support new Re-Use activities across the world such as Taiwan, China and other global regions

Education

• Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical or other engineering.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Technical Program/Project Management for Semiconductor equipment or part manufacturing industry
• Experience in Semiconductor equipment part design/manufacturing/repair engineering background are plus

Personal skill

• Excellent project management through tool & application such Gantt or MS project
• Technical background and knowledge in Mechanical, Optical, Electrical, Electronics or Material
• Good understanding & knowledge in Semiconductor equipment/component manufacturing 
• Pragmatic/systemic approach to drive high value problem with effectiveness and efficiency
• Familiar to use effective problem solving tools such 8 Discipline or others 
• Capable to be adopted in Multi-cultural, Cross functional, Performance oriented culture
• Strong mindset for continuous improvement in technical & quality
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean
• Highly motivated in social and communication with colleagues and stakeholders
