Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Drive the assortment plan by store format out of category country range according to seasonal strategy and local needs and within local channel RA/OP. Key Responsibilities - - Build assortment plans by store format and clusters based on market RA, local needs & calendar
- - Focus on assortment width while factoring efficiency & ASP to ensure Monthly Comp
- - Gathering collation of market landscape and competition intelligence (channel / store format level)
- - Combines/validates category assortment plans from BUs, and finalizes into a holistic, full store format assortment plan (width)
- - Output all assortment plans for all store formats factoring regionalization needs
- - Integrate VM, OCM upfront into assortment building process and support VM plan
- - Develop & handover assortment plans to channels for store level buying and depth completion
- - Deliver store format assortment plan presentations to channel representatives through related GTM milestones(e.g. SMM)
- - Keen understanding of channel specific nuances and market landscape
- - Work in close collaboration with pertinent channel partners as needed
- - Support MOPS with sample capacity by store format for the trade meeting
- - Active participation in preline & trade meetings to support channel teams as needed
- - Lead & drive channel segmentation/exclusives for DTC/Mono/Membership
- - Ensure full delivery of Assortment Strategy, Assortment Build, Best Seller mapping, Key story by month by tier execution, etc.
- - Evaluate performance through Compliance & Take Ratio evaluation and present at Commercial meetings and Buy review as required
- - Receive feedback and support request from channels
- - Review actual buy DTC/Mono channels and be involved in required action plans
- - Review weekly/monthly sell out results for all categories, all angles and provide Brand team with relevant channel insights

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - - Ability to implement strategy
- - Presentation/communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization
- - Distinct track record of success and high-level assortment management knowledge
- - Numerical & analytical skills
- - Cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions (e.g. marketing, sales, etc.) and support functions (finance preferred), as well as different organizational levels (Global, Market, etc.)
- - Industry knowledge, across divisions?footwear, apparel and accessories?and across all Bus
- - Understanding of Korea markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications - - 5-8 years of marketing management experience with a recognized top tier brand, with at least 5 years in product channel management.
- - Exposure to other marketing disciplines preferable, e.g. retail / ecomm / merchandising, or sales channel experience
- - University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
- - Sporting goods industry experience preferred.
- - Fluent both in English and Korean
