- Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.
- Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools.
- Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Programmers who are developing applications for technical end users
- Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs.
- Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
- Designs common software modules and libraries for use across multiple tools
- Troubleshoots a variety of difficult software problems and designs and implements bug fixes
- Defines software specifications and designs software products
- Defines and drives improvements to the development and troubleshooting process
- Contributes to technical review boards for assigned programs Interfaces with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting
| - Functional Knowledge
- Priority is given to understanding of vacuum chamber, understanding of display equipment, understanding of OLED system, and sufficient experience in Design Drawing Simulation.
- Proficiency and professional experience in C and C++ is required.
- Experience with TwinCAT PLC is an advantage
- In addition, programming experience in several of the following areas is desired: Real-time Control, Motion Control, I/O (synchronous and asynchronous), Multi-threading performance profiling, C#, .NET, TCP sockets, Visual Studio, Source Control

- Identification and resolution of a wide range of proactive, limited and complex mechanical problems
- Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including major supplier development.
- Specify the development, design or revision of complex scope engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specs.
- Interfacing with internal and external customers on a wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific projects.
- Implementation of concepts for complex product problems and solution scope
- May be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom machine tooling, fixtures and related processes that enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product lifecycle.
- We set standards across all operational processes.
- Create product specifications Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports. Specify and review engineering documents.

- Implement concepts for wide range of complex product issues and solutions
- Generate product specifications with limited to no supervision

- Partners with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to develop new products and enhance existing products as well as communicate critical market needs and time requirements
- Lead the technical discussion with customer and align/tune the customer requirement with internal engineering and process team
- Participate in the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. used to drive key business decisions.
- Understands technical and business environments. Assists with the development of strategies to meet business objectives
- Develops complex scope business & marketing plans, assesses market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share
- Conducts complex competitive analysis for specific products or product lines. Drives Red Team Analysis
- Assists with complex pricing strategies to build and protect a leadership position in market share while enhancing profit margins and developing marketing tools for successful product introductions Manages release of complex products through the end of their product life cycle
