Job Summary:
Act as a member of the Procurement team to support APAC strategic sourcing and category management activities in Gate Gourmet Korea.
Key to this position will be to understand and identify Innovation in the end-to-end cost drivers of the entire supply chain and to translate that knowledge into reduced total cost in accordance with budget targets, gategroup Procurement strategy and customer expectations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
● Pro-actively support the allocated territory sourcing decision process in accordance with the group Global supply and purchasing policies.
● Build effective supply and resulting category plan reflecting the local market landscape, customer needs, sourcing opportunities and dynamics,
logistical framework, and cultural sensitivities. Continually search marketplace to develop new products and competitive suply sources.
● Work with all group cross-functional teams achieve EBITDAM savings according to allocated annual targets and Regional Strategic Procurement
Plan.
● Manage tenders by utilizing electronic sourcing tools to ensure fully auditable procurement process is followed, minimize internal purchasing
transaction costs, rationalize evaluation procedure, and ensure negotiated pricing terms translate into operational profits.
● Evaluate and qualify potential supplier`s operational capabilities and financial strength through approved group process.
● Supply Chain and contract compliance management in accordance with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
● Co-ordinate material related SACS system parameters and ensure set correctly to support the business needs in collaboration with the data
management teams where appropriate.
● Secure information flow and co-ordinate project and activities within the supply / material management responsibility.
● Support the maintenance and development of a fully rationalized and standardized product range where possible. Especially, for obtain and
renewal HACCP certificate, look for HACCP certified supplier and materials.
● Maintain the approved product list in terms of pricing data and product specification detail ensuring its integrity at all times.
● Effectively manage daily incidental and ad hoc sourcing activities - negotiate with existing suppliers on pricing, effective unit of measures, minimum
order quantities and delivery schedules for new products and services and gain approval from key internal stakeholders.
● Support business market intelligence activities by developing a broad knowledge of the industry marketplace, it conditions and trends and
developments.

● Share best practice with local and regional colleagues to drive `smarter sourcing initiatives and support development of procurement team
functionality and efficacy.
Education:
▶ Bachelor’s degree graduate in Business Administration/ Procurement / Supply Chain Management or related discipline
Work Experience:
▶ At least 3 years` experience in a Procurement / Supply Chain environment
▶ Working experience in food related industry is highly preferred
▶ Leadership skills/ Project Lead experience
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
▶ Computer skills (preferably SAP, SACS and Microsoft Office)
Language / Communication Skills:
▶ Native local Language and excellent English written and oral communication skills.
