Retail Operation Manager

ROLE MISSION
he Retail Operation Manager is the referent for all activities related to Retail Operations ; he/she provides local support to stores, ensuring that the stores fully understand and follows company guidelines.

Retail Operation Manager

Retail Operations activity:

  • Order and replenish non-merchandise materials for the team, such as: shopping bags, staff uniforms, client books, customer cards, stationery, F&B accessories, bespoke tools, etc.
  • Own, oversee and maintain Point of Sale software (X Store & JDA) for general trouble shooting
  • Support daily store functions such as merchandising, POS, inventory, and sales
  • Support retail teams for VM requests
  • Support store events as needed
  • Ensure that the stores fully understand and follows company guidelines
  • Partner with store management to assess and provide accurate feedback on retail tools and system
  • Manage locally ad hoc projects (I.E. Family Sale preparations)
  • Overlook and support all the Aftersale activities in the region working with Operations HQ and Aftersale Dept.



Store Planning & Maintenance (Facilities)

  • Support store planning HQ team in managing store openings, closings or pop-up project (repairs/maintenance, construction, partner with local third- party vendors)
  • Ensure an elevated and consistent customer experience under the Retail Excellence Guidelines with supplies including, but not limited to beverages, paper goods, etc.


 
Partnership

  • Maintaining and updating store operations manual, accordingly with HQ
  • Partner with Kering Internal Audit department
  • Train new store managers on Retail Operational Excellence
  • Liaison for LPI Loss Prevention
  • Stock count in warehouse (if any) with Kering Logistic and warehouse team
  • Monitor and own workflow of alterations throughout APAC Retail Network
  • Support HQ in acting as a gatekeeper to check any suspicious in-store transactions including price override and non-approved client discounts


 

  • Storage: ownership and partnership of external storage and/or APAC warehouse accordingly with HQ
  • Financial support: partnership with Brioni and Kering finance team to support finance work if needed.
  • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock


 
Partnership with buyers for Transferring/allocating

  • Working with central warehouse and Kering logistic for customer special requests to deliver
  • Decide defective items to keep, repair or send back.
  • Support and make delivery plan if needed


KEY REQUIREMENTS

- At least 5+ years proven experience in similar position
Independent self-starter
Knowledge of luxury business, product and client
Problem solving
Attention to detail
Planning/Organization and Execution
Teamwork and Communication, both in the store and with the Head Quarter
Flexibility
