Applications and Sales Engineer (APT) Main
tasks and responsibilities:
Prepare and
coordinate technical and commercial proposal activities Conduct hydraulics
rating using an in-house hydraulics rating program Carry out process
simulation for refinery & petrochemicals processes Prepare price
calculation and tender documentation Propose a solution
using Sulzer’s products. Follow up on
projects and update the status of projects Work closely with cross-functional
departments (process engineering, project management, shipping/logistic) and
suppliers/sub-contractors to prepare cost estimates for engineering studies and
process equipment Ensure that the
specifications offered to the customer are within the capability and capacity
of the company Ensure that the
customers’ requirements are adequately conveyed and properly reflected in the proposal

Education
requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical
Engineering or similar discipline Job experience: 3+ years Knowledge
requirements (professional, chemical,
language): Microsoft Skills Fair knowledge of chemical separation/distillation
processes Experience with process simulation software (i.e., PRO
II, Aspen Plus, etc.) preferred Excellent in both oral & written English and Korean Business travel (~30%), particularly in South Korea
