The Canadian Embassy in Seoul has a mandate to strengthen bilateral relationship between Canada and Korea in all fields of human endeavour. Indeed, there are virtually unlimited opportunities to increase bilateral investment and trade, to deepen our relationship in civil society, to expand our political and economic dialogue, and to broaden the scope of our cultural and academic relationships.

Canadas Trade Commissioner Service provides targeted assistance to Canadian companies, businesspeople and organizations wanting to do business in Korea. It also has the role of attracting investment to Canada. The Immigration Section processes applications for immigration, work and study in Canada. It also liaises with the Korean Government to facilitate movement of people between Korea and Canada. Political and Economic Relations and Public Affairs (PERPA) represents Canada in government-to-government relations and raising awareness of Canada in Korea. The Consular Services provides a large range of services to Canadians travelling or living in Korea, such as replacement of lost or stolen passports, obtaining medical care locally or other emergency assistance.

The Canadian Embassy in Seoul strives to walk hand-in-hand with its Korean partners and to share our experiences in many areas of human endeavour.
