[You are an easy-going man]
My American friend who I met during my backpack trip said this to me. He said it means a person who can get close easily with anybody and make them feel comfortable. I think the reason why my friend said like this is because of my smile.

I have learnt to be a soft leader with a smile while I was elected as a class representative. I also was able to open other people`s mind because I always faced them with a smiling face. Moreover, I believe smile can be a way to communicate with people. I have experienced difficulties when I volunteered to teach Korean to a foreigner who came for an international marriage and a student with ADHD. It was hard to communicate with them but I always had a smile on my face and tried to understand them. These experiences made me an expert on communication and persuasion. Last year, I was provided free home stay for a month with my persuasion skill. In return, I offered him Korean lessons.

In addition, my father always emphasized of the important of being diligent. He said that feeling rewarded at the end of the day is a result of working hard. He worked at a field of construction regardless of the seasons and the weather. I learned faithfulness while I was helping him.

I have three weapons, ‘a backpack’, ‘a jaw of bulldog’ and ‘a barnacle’. Firstly, I am active and adventurous person. Thus, I can do whatever and go wherever I want right away like a backpack. Secondly, I am responsible for my duties. Bulldog has a tenacious jaw.

Therefore, I always finish what I have started. Finally, I am a person like a barnacle. I can adapt myself into new circumstances well. These three strengths made me the way I am now

On the other hand, I have a weakness that I should always accomplish all of works on my hand. Moreover, I am an outgoing person who is passionate about communicating with other people. Someone would consider me as a talkative person. To make up for my weaknesses, I work out at least four times a week to improve my physical strength and I try not to be imprudent.

질문Q3.An experience to overcome a conflict보기

I have an experience of overcoming a conflict with co-workers and accomplishing a goal with a better result than we targeted. Last year, I went to Laos for volunteer work at a non-profit organization called Somang School. They made profit from English academy and re-invested that money to build a school for the poor.

We taught English to students at the academy. At first, there was a problem of separating the classes. However, this was difficult for our team because we did not know enough about each other.

To solve this problem, I tried to share a common goal which was to increase the amount of student in the academy and give them high qualitied lessons. Then, I suggested some standards to our team which were English ability, personality, and volunteering experiences. They agreed on my suggestion and we were able to separate the classes successfully.

We showed our talent to the optimized classes and the number of students was increased. I was attracted to work with others and I was able to learn the importance of sharing a common goal.

I think communication skill and active attitude is essential in every position. I always tried to improve these capabilities by meeting many people through part-time job and volunteer works.

Especially, I had an active attitude when I volunteered to explain exhibitions to students. First, I gathered information about the exhibitions and studied about ‘constructive learning theory’ to deliver historical information correctly and effectively.

Before I start to explain, I chatted with the students about their school life or relationship with other students for ice-breaking. This made them focus on my explanation since we were also to bond with each other. Moreover, I did the same when I was guiding the parents of the students. They were satisfied with my explanation.

In addition, I completed a training program in Yonsei University language school for level B1+ to improve my English. I also tried to raise global competence by completing training program on global business organized by the Ministry of Labor.

Moreover, I am interested in Human Resources because I want to contribute in training juniors in the future. A month ago, I participated in the 9th Human Resource Development Conference. I was able to listen to speech of Professor Roger Kaufman from Florida State University. I learnt about HRD and was able to learn in depth about understanding human resources.
