Reporting to the Operations Claims Manager (based in Singapore), the role will include the investigation, negotiation and settlement of predominantly large, complex Property and Business Interruption claims throughout the Asia Operational Claims territory. The successful candidate be available to handle losses across Asia Pacific, and potentially having initial training in Australia, or other territory.           

With responsibility for developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with our clients, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a high level of personal credibility through outstanding interpersonal skills and an aptitude for negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

·         investigating and assisting the Insured in mitigation activities, including but not limited to salvage, restoration of production, claims preparation and subrogation;

·         consulting with the Insured’s top management;

·         negotiating with the Insured to reconcile any differences of opinion regarding the loss measurement and/or coverage;

·         maintaining rapport with the Insured in order to reach an equitable and favourable settlement as promptly as possible;

·         extensive traveling, occasionally at short notice.

Position Requirements:

·         a good class Engineering degree or other related discipline;

·         at least 8 years of post-graduate engineering and/or insurance industry experience;

·         excellent written and communication skills in English;

·         an ability to develop strong relationships with clients;

·         excellent organizational and time-management skills.

·         Must have South Korea’s loss adjuster license.

Salary Budget: KRW 106M ? KRW 120M per annum (협의 가능)
