A multinational consumer electronics firm is searching for a DSP Software Engineer. The selected candidate will design, implement, and customise DSP audio features in automotive amplifiers based on application requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and customise DSP audio features in automotive amplifiers based on application requirements
• Support software issue reporting, requirement clarification, release schedule, and production troubleshooting
• Schedule and deliver the software release to the customer on time with quality
• Serve as the first line of defence for software-related production issues
• Follow ASD software best practices and guide the team to exercise it
• Collaborate with geo-distributed engineering teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in software or electrical engineering (Master’s is a plus)
• More than 5 years of experience in production Embedded Software programming with DSP processors from major vendors such as ADI, TI, and Qualcomm or HIFI cores
• Knowledge in real-time DSP in time and frequency domain, digital filter design, multi-rate signal processing
• Background in production code programming in C/C++ and MATLAB
• Prior customer-facing experience
• Experience in model-based development using high-level design software (Simulink) is advantageous
• Familiarity with SCM tools (Git or SVN) is preferred
• Experience in the automotive and audio industry is highly preferable
