[직무내용]

  • JOB OBJECTIVES

    • This Position will be responsible for managing and supporting the OEM and/or Tier 1 customer throughout the developing, testing, pre-production builds, and launch of a project.  This involves close collaboration with the customer product development team to insure key project milestones are known and met via customer open issue meetings.  Additionally, the Mechanical Engineer will support internal product development teams e.g. through Design review, DFMEA.

     
    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate product development team communication meetings between OEM Customer and our company.

      Perform preliminary design and develop drawings and specifications necessary to support the development of new products and modification of existing products.

      Assist in defining system requirements and resolving component technical specification issues.

      Research solutions to technical problems and recommend cost effective resolution approaches.

      Creating engineering work orders to release parts and gain program team approval of piece cost and tooling.

      Support vehicle build events and launches for new and carry-over products at OEM and Tier 1 customer locations.

      Resolving system issues and determining the root cause and verifying the resolution of test incidents.

      Review/Approve owner’s manual documentation for responsible products and their correct function and interface to the vehicle.

     MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years automotive experience.

      Computer skills, including the use of CAD software - CATIA V5 and/or UG, NX6 or NX7.

      Understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing quality tools, including DFMEA process.

      Basic management skills, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, and project management.

      Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and employees.

      Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.

      Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.

    MINIMUM LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

    Fluent English skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing or at least business level

    Korean as mother tongue
