An international commercial vehicle dealer is searching for a Credit Underwriter. The chosen candidate will be responsible for credit decision-making, rescheduling reviews, contract activation approvals, and other related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in daily credit decision-making according to the credit mandate in the Credit Risk Policy
• Approve contract activation in the system
• Participate in weekly meetings with the back office credit department on overdue updates
• Manage confirmation and review of all closing reports with comments and credit risk report
• Handle management of contracts write-off
• Ensure compliance, implementation, and update of Credit Risk Policy and Annexure
• Facilitate internal control and reporting regarding Customer Data Protection

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in a finance organisation (finance, accounting, or credit department)
• Knowledge of financial statements analysis
• Intermediate level in MS Office (spreadsheet, PPT, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in commercial heavy vehicle transportation business or finance is a plus
• Proficient in written and verbal English
