Construction Cost Management Offshore is a sub-department in the Regional Offshore Support team, which consists of Construction Specialists, Construction Analysts, and Scenario Planners. The team is responsible for maintaining the cost model used to estimate complex construction activities to offshore sales projects, as well as evaluating the cost drivers and conducting business analysis to ensure high quality in the estimates. As a Cost Analyst, you will work closely with skilled construction package managers and experienced industry specialists to provide valuable sales budget for constructing new offshore wind farms across the Asia Pacific market.

Construction Cost Analyst (48184)

Responsibilities 

ㆍDeliver project-specific construction cost budgets & review presentations for offshore wind farm bidding projects

ㆍSupport team with complex costing estimation for various scenarios, and give strategic advice based on the cost analysis.

ㆍInitiate cost optimization activities and review cost drivers with stakeholders

ㆍMaintain the quality of the cost database, and reflect the latest regional-specific considerations into the cost model by conducting a market investigation with stakeholders

ㆍDevelop and implement changes to the cost estimation model and sales tools

ㆍSupport cross-functional business cases and product roadmap assessments with operational cost input


Qualifications 

  2. ㆍBachelor`s or Master`s degree in economics, finance, business management, renewable energy or similar
  3. ㆍ1-3 years` experience in related discipline
  4. ㆍGood understanding in the relationship between construction activities and financial impact
  5. ㆍSolid economics/financial modelling skills
  6. ㆍSkilled user of Microsoft applications Excel & PowerPoint with great IT skills. An understanding of programming is good but not a requirement
  7. ㆍGood communication skills incl. presentation skills
