Purpose of the
position
Responsible for
managing and developing customer relationships in order to ensure that Valmet
is the preferred Solution Provider with customers.
Key
responsibilities
·
Lead the entire
sales process and activities, working closely with project operations, service organization,
product groups, and the sales network
·
Customize
strategies to meet specific customer needs and leverage Valmet`s business
opportunities effectively
·
Conduct
thorough analyses of energy and process industries` markets and trends, with a
focus on Valmet`s automation solutions
·
Serve as
the primary communication point, overseeing customer care, and ensuring
customer satisfaction with viable contract terms and conditions in a competitive
business landscape
·
Drive
sales of Valmet`s automation solutions to energy and process industry projects,
including both greenfield and brownfield projects, utilizing extensive market
knowledge and proven expertise in control and monitoring systems such as DCS or
PLC
·
Develop
and grow partner business by identifying, screening, validating, and managing
partners sales activities
·
Prioritize
customer relationship management, emphasizing the establishment and maintaining
strong customer relationships and trust
·
Manage in
various sales related works, including participation in exhibitions and marketing
activities, delivering customer presentations, preparing quotations, sales negotiations,
and successfully closing sales cases, handing them over to project execution
teams
Requirements
·
Technical
degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Control, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
·
Over 7
years of relevant work experience
·
Knowledge in
contractual terms and conditions, with experience in EPC and end-customers business
·
Good
understanding of energy & process automation markets, including power
generation, waste-to-energy, biomass & renewable energy, biofuels,
hydrogen, and oil & gas industries
·
Proven
track record in sales, particularly with DCS or PLC systems in EPC, end
customers, and OEM customers
·
Collaborative
team player with a positive attitude
·
Ability to
work independently to set tasks and manage priorities to reach the targets
·
High level
of commitment, proactivity, and self-motivation
·
Excellent
communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
·
Proficiency
in MS Office tools
·
Fluency in
English; Advanced/Native Korean skills are a must and other Asian languages skills
are plus
·
Availability
for local and overseas travel
