ㆍThe pricing analyst is a key resource to provide pricing solutions to customers through the sales and account management channels. The pricing analyst uses information resources regarding customer needs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets to prepare pricing quotes and/or internal proposals regarding pricing strategies.
ㆍDevelop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models
ㆍGrow margin by identifying pricing actions that encourage higher sale values, margin rates, and customer satisfaction
ㆍForecast margins to help the business impact of new pricing
ㆍMonitor input costing changes and develop sensitivity analysis to provide reporting on potential price changes.
ㆍPresent pricing analysis at a periodic strategy meeting, with insights, trends, and suggestions
ㆍCommunicate and help implement pricing changes through the command chain
ㆍLead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations.
< Skill and Requirements >
ㆍBachelor’s degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline preferred
ㆍFinancial experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
ㆍExperience within Manufacturing Industry
ㆍWork cross-functionally throughout the organization to drive analysis-driven change
ㆍDemonstrates complex problem resolution and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements
ㆍIn-depth knowledge with analytical and presentation tools
ㆍMaintain knowledge of developments in the industry
