A multinational chemical manufacturer is searching for a Technical R&D Sales. The chosen applicant will be in charge of providing technical support on excipients to existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities:

• Organise monthly travel plans by collaborating with sales team to meet existing and potential customers for technical support on excipients
• Conduct technical presentations and seminars for customers and training sessions for sales team members
• Coordinate with principals and suppliers for organising customer events and assist in preparation for review meetings and reports
• Guide customers on possible product applications and provide hands-on technical solutions at shop floor level
• Follow up regularly on customers for a brief outcome on projects
• Participate actively in the execution of topical strategy to customers
• Work closely with technical services lab for customer projects and translate information to customers by conducting lab trials in customer facility
• Enhance technical support with existing customers and technically support new customer base by collaborating with the sales team
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, or relevant scientific major (Postgraduate in pharmacy is advantageous)
• More than 10 years in the pharmaceutical laboratory or industrial pharmacy environment (solid dosage formulation, hard gelatine capsule, and various coating formulations)
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Experience as a pharmacist or similar is preferred
• Familiarity with major pharmaceutical processes and formulation and manufacturing of finished dosage forms is desirable
• Fluent level written and verbal English
