About this role: P&SP(PACKAGING & SPECIALTY PLASTICS) Korea is looking for a highly motivated Sales Specialist, aiming to grow and manage the current customer portfolio either for the Packaging or ICT business in Korea. Last year we have announced Path2Zero investment to build the world`s first net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives facility in Alberta, Canada. Primary Responsibility: - Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market. - Negotiation is key and daily routine: Agility in managing prices across the customer portfolio maximizing variable margin. - Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the market. - Search new business development opportunities within the market. - Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization. - Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions. - Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain. - Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development. - Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver the results. Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Sales or marketing. - Strong negotiation skills and commercial background. - Resiliency and growth mindset. - Builds excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. - Focuses on both the short-term results and long-term goals. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill in Korean and English. - Value the customer as the most important asset for Dow. - Self-starter. - Successfully manages through ambiguous situations. - Works well under pressure.
