The major function of this position is to continuously develop suppliers, support projects and monitor the Quality level of suppliers/ components related to the purchase of components required by company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.   Develop, coordinate and implement quality strategies required for the continuous improvement of the supply base.
2.   Perform supplier quality assessment required by the company Sourcing Process for new supplier selection
3.   Lead problem solving activities to solve deficiencies identified at the suppliers
4.   Monitor Quality performance of suppliers to properly assess their level of capabilities
5.   Identify Quality improvement through “Lean 6 Sigma” activities that could lead to potential cost saving and process improvement
6.   Support Management with professional advice in Quality matters
7.   Support Commodity Management Strategies.
8.   Support technical discussion between company and suppliers during development

ㆍSupplier Quality Engineer

자격요건

ㆍ학력 : 대졸이상

ㆍ경력 : 경력10년↑

-Engineering (BS) degree or equivalent, automotive/engine background is preferred; At least 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Very good understanding of ISO 9000 and APQP/PPAP process; familiar with automotive quality system.
-Fluent in Korean & English
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as die casting, machining, heat treating, assembly and paint.
- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with all organizational levels within company and our supplier network
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from suppliers and internal customers. Ability to effectively present information to management.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
- Proficient personal computer skills including email, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments
- Occasionally required to work overtime, including meeting attendance, outside of regular hours without special compensation
- Ability to travel 30% or greater
