An international medical device manufacturer is looking for a Country Manager. The selected applicant will be developing and executing comprehensive business strategies for the Korean market, aligning with global objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and deliver commercial goals
  • Develop and execute market penetration and expansion strategies
  • Lead, guide, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team
  • Establish an effective network of distribution partners in the country
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, including physicians, surgeons, and hospital administrators
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
  • Develop, execute, and monitor regular sales strategies to drive market share
  • Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to ensure seamless coordination

Requirements:

  • Bachelor`s degree or above in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is preferred)
  • More than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or general management in medical device or pharmaceutical industry in Korea
  • More than 5 years of experience in a country leadership or business unit head role
  • Background in project management
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare market, regulatory landscape, and distribution channels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent level in written and verbal Korean and English
