[Responsibilities] - Provides overall
management of an accounting team(s) with the primary focus to meet all aspects
of client delivery on a timely and efficient manner - Acts as the focal
point for the Accounting team(s) to internal and external stakeholders /
clients on daily operational escalations and issues. Works closely with client
to set expectations and communicates expectations to the team - Qualified reviewer
for all monthly Client Accounting services - Possesses a
comprehensive technical and functional understanding of all accounting
processes in use any relevant amendments or appendices, and of the client’s
structure - Accountable for
review and approval of closing files, annual accounts, VAT returns, corporate
income tax returns of client files - Responsible for the
timely reporting, management and delivery of critical accounting tasks - Assists
junior/senior accountants in onboarding of new clients - Responsible for the
internal control of the internal accounting process - Involved in system
testing & coordination with IT teams on accounting related system changes,
upgrade, enhancements or issue log - Develops and
maintains all necessary manuals associated with accounting processes and
controls - Responsible for
creating a high-performance team by focusing on team development, satisfying
work experiences and accountability for team(s) results and performance and
ultimately retention - Manages training,
development, and workload of accounting team staff - Monitors staff
performance and provides necessary coaching & mentoring
[Requirements] - Proven experience as
accounting/finance supervisor OR manager - Fluency in English
is required - 5+ years of direct
people management experience/ Prior supervisory experience is preferred - Solid understanding
of accounting fundamentals and closing process - Very good knowledge
of tax legislations and compliance of the field - Experience in an
outsourcing firm with strong client servicing skills is preferred - Proficient in MS
Office - Good knowledge of
relevant software (e.g., Duzone, Wehago, SAP, Oracle, Xero, NetSuite, MS
Dynamics and etc.) and proficiency with handling databases - Analytical
structured mind set with ability to follow and build upon existing processes
and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency - Trustworthy with
attention to confidentiality - Outstanding
organizational ability with great attention to detail - Excellent
communication skills - Qualified
Accountant, Bachelor or above ? Major in business, accounting or relevant field
is a plus
