Key Role and Responsibilities
Organize a monthly travel plan by collaborating with sales team and independently to meet existing and potential customers for technical support
n excipients.
Assist in conducting technical presentations and seminars for customers and training sessions for sales team members.

Coordinate with principals & suppliers for organizing customer events and assist in preparation for review meeting and reports.  
Educate and provide guidance to customers on possible product applications and to provide hands on technical solutions at shop floor level. 
Regular and critical follow ups on customers for a brief outcome on projects. 
Participate actively in execution of topical strategy to customers across Korea by collaborating with Topical Task Force. 
Work closely with technical services lab for customer projects and translate information to customers by conducting lab trials in customer facility. 
Enhance technical support with existing customers and technically support new customer base by collaborating with the sales team. 
Scout for projects with customers which could be taken up in the PTC (Pharma Technical Centre)s across APAC. 
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints. 
Coordinate the provision of appropriate product samples to the customer in a timely fashion in close cooperation with sales managers, principals, and relevant departments. 
Submit reports timely regarding technical activities and customer visits.
Conduct critical analysis on Sales Force platform and identify Key Business Opportunities to prioritize and align technical activities.
Ensure effective creation and conversion of opportunities. 
Provide market intelligence from a technical perspective and insights on potential business opportunities. 
Scout and assist BU Head for collaborating with new suppliers in Korea. 


[Job Requirements]

Key Attributes

  • Strategic technical promotion of specialty products coupled with providing hands on technical expertise in application of products in pharmaceutical formulations to customer base with an entrepreneurial mindset of follow ups.
  • Sound technical knowledge on pharmaceutical formulations with a primary focus on Oral, Topical and Parenteral DDS(Drug Delivery Systems) for judicious identification of critical projects.
  • Extensive travel to customer base across Korea with sales managers, suppliers as well as independently to offer technical support to customer and in process build enduring and trusting partnerships with customers.
  • Collaboration with team members, suppliers to offer precise solutions to customers from a technical perspective and help in facilitating quality, regulatory and sampling activities with customers.
  • Team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centric mindset
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven, well-organized and conscientious individual seeking a long-term association with the organization.

Education/Experience/Qualification

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline required. Post graduate degree in Pharmacy preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical laboratory or industrial pharmacy environment with an emphasis on solid dosage formulation, hard gelatin capsule and various coating formulation required
  • An understanding of the pharmaceutical development and registration process is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of major pharmaceutical processes and formulation and manufacturing of finished dosage forms
  • Previous experience giving technical presentations at an academic or industry forum preferred
  • Background as a Pharmacist or similar background preferred 
  • Fluency in written English required and fluency in verbal English preferred.
  • Must also be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
