Job title : T&L Specialist

 

Transportation Management

- Lead transportation and logistics operations efficiently to deliver goods from/to our suppliers/customers. Adhere to applicable customs processes, regulations and hazardous goods legislations.  Optimize utilization rate and route of vehicles.  Set up new shipping lanes, shipping doc, SAP set-up, customs requirements

- Managing third party logistics companies and transportation based on KORE standards. Need to monitor the performance of service providers from both financial and operational points of view to select or create, maintain and develop the best and the most efficient partnerships.

- Managing and set the inbound schedule and communicate with service providers and make sure to be ready to use for the ingredients. In terms of outbound, need to ensure documentation and processes readiness for customer shipment.

 

Government Relationship and regulation follow up

- Manage and maintain routine communication and constructive relationship with relevant local authorities (ex. The Customs, KFDA etc.) Managing the custom clearance and quarantine process. Need to be a window for the relevant local authorities to drive troubleshooting and negotiations to have the issues safe-land and avoid impacts for supply.

 

Supplier Relationship Management and Procurement

-  Lead the Business Review routine with the freight forwarder to monitor performance, productivity initiatives etc. Review and provide baseline information for the regular Ocean & 3PL RFQ to make sure successful biding financially and operate efficiently. Conduct to create and update annual contract with stakeholders such as freight forwarder, Customs broker etc.

 

Invoicing & Claim management

- Collecting and analyse transportation data by mode (Ocean, Air etc.) for freight cost and other cost related with transportation and logistics cost like warehousing cost that are well managed to ensure cost effectiveness. 

- Control and validate invoicing processes with freight forwarders, Custom brokers, other stakeholders and finance teams. Responsible for Claim management Process and Coordination with team and stakeholders

Transportation Initiative

- Collaborate with internal and external customer to ensure smooth, effective and quality transportation of goods, and facilitate the improvement on total supply chain performance. Lead Global WWW transportation strategy and implement it with our TCCC/TCCS Stakeholders. Develop multimodal & greener solutions to reduce CO2 emissions by maintaining good service level.

 

Metrics & Continuous improvement

- Managing transportation and logistics KPI such as CSDR(Carrier Service Defect Rate), Air Freight, Demurrage & Penalties etc.

-Drive innovation of KIT supply execution through the collaborations with stakeholders of bottlers, BU, 3PLs (warehousing / transportation companies) Drive to provide business strategies and recommendations based on KORE standards to ensure cost-efficient logistics operations.
