[Main Responsibilities] - Contracts review & Legal Opinion on Shipping business, Logistics business & Corporate issues, etc.
- Charterparty(C/P) Dispute
- Handling of some of Anti-trust cases in foreign jurisdictions
- Support for Compliance (International & Domestic): Competition, FOREX, Tax, Customs, Safety & Health, PIPA/GDPR, etc.
- Litigation Management, etc.
[Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements]
Required Experience & Skills:
? Member of Bar Association of Korea or other jurisdictions (UK, US, Australia preferred)
? 2 to 8 years of professional experience as attorney-at-law at law firms or multinational companies
? Good knowledge of overall and specific domestic & foreign laws and regulations
? Knowledge of risk management and Ability to identify, escalate, and argue the risk
? Business level in English and Korean, in writing and speaking
? Good communication skills and Proactive attitude
? Participate in and drive collaborative efforts across diverse stakeholders in the company
? Enhanced skill in excel, power point, word program
Preferred Experience & Skills:
? Work experience or knowledge in maritime/logistics industry would be a plus but is not required.
? Work experience at an international law firm or a multi-national corporation
