The Resource Department is a part of the Service Operations Support in the Asia Onshore region consist of 9 countries - India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. The Resource Department includes traveling resources, special task and sub contractor management.

Job Description & Requirements

Service Resource Manager (45470)

Responsibilities 

Partner with Area Managers and Site Managers to deliver services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, profitability, and contractual obligations

Partner with Area and Site Managers to ensure 365/24/7 operation functionality of the sites

Assigned staff is supervised/led/coordinated and a positive and effective working relationship is established/maintained

Maintaining and updating teams databases such as planned/unplanned absences, local holidays

Interpersonal skills development, competencies, and training actions are managed

Compliance with Vestas standards, processes, and procedures, also ensures obeying regional laws and regulations


Qualifications 

Technical or other relevant degree (B.Sc or M.Sc)

You will be a skilled manager, adept at interacting with people at all levels internally and externally with large multinational organizations

Project management skills, able to handle a range of solutions with stakeholders across the business

You will have proven solid organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and change focus as per the needs of the business

You will have highly developed communication skills, the ability to be clear and consistent


Competencies 

Experience in developing teams and, as project manager, project lead, or other management experience

Technical background or equivalent education

Ability to travel as needed to meet business expectations

Understanding, knowledge, and insight of technical and mechanical systems and turbine components

Safety and compliance mindset

Empowerment, change-oriented, people coaching, analytical, interpersonal skills

Good English communication skills and business financial knowledge will be beneficial.
