Responsibilities
ㆍProvide 1st level technical trouble shooting support to Service (Vestas & Non-Vestas)
ㆍProvide remote / on-site support to service operation on resolution of turbine alarms / alerts
ㆍTravel on as needs basis to wind farm to enable direct issue resolution, supervision or development of L4 technicians
ㆍSupport service team with technical inquires from customers and local authorities
ㆍAttend external meetings with customers or authorities to support service team
ㆍSupport with the preparation of technical reports for customer and service operations
ㆍSupport the ASP ROS technical team with LPF, cost out, performance, down turbine calls
ㆍDevelop and facilitate training of Level 4 Turbine technician team to support the service business need
ㆍUtilisation of the C4C/TSL ticketing system in order to efficiently respond and handle resolution of issues raised by the service operations team
ㆍActing as sub-regional contact point for ASP ROS, collating/consolidating region specific information on need basis to enable an ASP overview
ㆍEscalation of challenging issues to ASP ROS technical team for advanced troubleshooting support
ㆍProvision of ad-hoc support to validate Component Inspection Report (CIR) related to WTG in sub region. Approval of CIR`s to be completed at ASP regional ROC
ㆍCreate / Update Draft Vestas Global Advisor (VGA) based on the troubleshooting support and submit in the portal, which will be reviewed by ASP to be available in VGA portal
ㆍEnsure correct SW and parameter settings for windfarms
ㆍRemote Software upload support for Vestas & Non-Vestas turbines
ㆍCreate and consolidate cost out suggestions from Service operations and support the ASP ROS technical team to develop cost out projects for implementation
Qualifications
ㆍUniversity degree in Engineering
ㆍAt least 5 years of working experiences preferably in wind industry or energy sector
ㆍWorking knowledge on various Vestas Fleet would be advantage
ㆍExperiences in interactions with local authorities would be advantage
ㆍGood Diagnostic and troubleshooting technical skills with emphasis on root cause analysis
ㆍGood communication skills, both verbal and written English
Competencies
ㆍIntermediate MS Office, particularly Excel
ㆍSome degree of physical fitness in order to climb turbines
ㆍHighly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
ㆍAbility to organize priorities and prioritize daily work without any supervision
ㆍAbility to utilize all identified the tools and systems listed in the relevant skills matrix for this position
ㆍAbility to participate effectively as part of team
ㆍAbility to work in stress/time critical environment
ㆍSelf-motivated; self-directed
