Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Customer Support and Communication : 1. Coordinate the resolution of product quality concerns (process/customer) and facilitate issue 1. response to customer. 2. Participate in review of customer documentation to identify and ensure fulfillment of copy exact 2. requirements. 3. Write/support writing problem investigation reports and complete customer corrective action 3. requests (eg 8D). 4. Support customer/ internal 8D responses and quality resolution meetings. 5. Coordinates corrective action, follow-up and reporting. 6. Participate in customer visits, surveys, and audits.
Quality Systems : 7. Approve department operation instructions (documents translated into Korean) and provide 7. necessary support for a complete understanding of the operation instructions and their 7. application. 8. Participate in the development and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 (or latest version) 8. documentation and internal quality system audits. 9. Ensure calibration dates of Test and Measurement (T&M) equipment is current. 10. Initiate engineering deviation requests and product change requests and forward to corporate 10. engineering team for approval.
Quality Tools : 11. Develop/monitor first pass yield reports, scrap reports, and process audit reports. 12. Develop sampling plans, design forms for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data, and 12. write instructions and train on the use of such forms. 13. Employ statistical process controls (SPC) tools and techniques to drive process improvement. 14. Participate in regular quality improvement programs. 15. Initiate plans, procedures, and/or actions to prevent/eliminate product and systemic quality 15. problems.
Inspection and Nonconformity Handling : 16. Support/perform Incoming inspection of components (as needed) and complete inspection 16. report. 17. Support/ Perform final product audit or inspections as needed. 18. Generate Non-conforming Material Report (NMR) for inspection rejects and support the NMR 18. process. 19. Disposition discrepant material in a manner that ensures product quality and adherence to 19. system requirements. 20. Coordinate appropriate analyses to determine the operations requiring corrective action.
General : 21. Support and promote Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities. 22. Ability to follow all safety procedures. 23. Regular attendance and ability to get along with others in a team. 24. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Required skills and Experience
Five or more years quality engineering experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility required.
Must be able to speak and write in English clearly.
Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook required.
Do not have disqualification for overseas business trip.
