Polypenco Korea Co. Ltd. (PKC) is a production joint-venture of Quadrant and produces Engineering Plastic Products (see details hereunder) in its manufacturing facilities in Bucheon Korea.

One of the core business units of Quadrant AG, Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (QEPP) is a leading manufacturer of semi-finished and finished products made from engineering and high performance plastics. Its product range extends from polyamide (PA), polyacetal (POM), and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW PE) to high performance materials such as polybenzimidazole (PBI), which features temperature resistance to over 425 °C while maintaining total dimensional stability.

QEPP’s products are used in a wide variety of industries ranging from semi-conductor, automotive, food processing, construction to packaging machinery for applications where properties such as static-dissipative, non-stick characteristics, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance as well as purity are extremely important.

Another main business of Quadrant is the Plastic Composite products in the form of Glass Mat (GMT) and Light Weight Reinforced Thermoplastics (LWRT). The sheet products are processed into complex components for the automotive and construction industry using large-volume pressing processes with short cycle times and high productivity. GMT materials are used primarily for manufacturing semi-structural components, and increasingly also for structural components, which have to satisfy the highest crash safety standards for the protection of passengers and pedestrians. LWRT are used for less structural application where light weight is of critical importance.
