SPL Lifesciences는 1994년 독자적인 Labware 개발에 착수하여 국내 최초로 고분자 플라스틱 표면처리 기술을 개발함으로써, 국내 연구실등에서 전량 수입에 의존하던 생명과학 기자재를 국내최초로 국산화하는 데 성공하였습니다. 또한 초정밀 반도체 금형제작에 사용되던 기술을 응용하여 독자적으로 Labware 금형을 제작하여 cell culture dish를 출시한 이후, 현재 500여종에 이르는 생명과학 분야의 연구용 플라스틱 제품을 개발, 출시함으로써 Labware 국내시장 점유율 1위 기업으로 성장하였습니다.

First and leading manufacturer of labware in Korea Since the foundation in 1987, SPL was committed to producing the high quality plastic labware to the bio research laboratories. SPL lifesciences is the first and leading manufacturer of plastic labware in Korea, and developed broad product portfolio by using high precision injection molding, polymer technology and surface chemistry.


ISO 9001 cerificate is the small part of our quality control systems. We understand the quality as our customer’s first needs. Maintaining world standard quality is major priority of SPL. We are producing every product with the highest level of quality controls and testing systems and will continuously invest to developing more sophisticated quality ensuring systems.


We have developed various new products in collaboration with scientists. Because we believe excellent quality perfomance and design come from the very own touches of active scientist. SPL Lifesciences is commeitted to the development of new products, which will help scientists to move forward.


In Korean market, we are currently supplying our products to more than 2000 research laboratories including government Institutes, hospitals, University laboratories and companies. SPL’s most loyal customers are researchers from the Korean National Institute of Health(NIH), Korea Food and Drug Administration(KFDA), the Rural Development Administration(RDA), Korea Institute of Science and Technology(KIST), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST), National Cancer Center, Korea Cancer Center Hospital and most of university laboratories. In order to supply our products to the worldwide market, we’ve expended our core facility from the year 2003.


In 2007, we moved to the new factory equipped with modern facilities and logistics center. The new factory is designed to block dust like a clean room facility. SPL Lifesciences makes every efforts to supply a better quality of products.
